About
An independent recovery publication
Recovery Edition is written for everyday active Australians — not just elite athletes.
Recovery is usually written about as if everyone reading is preparing for a final. Most people aren't. They're playing community footy, training three mornings a week, running before work, or finishing a twelve-hour shift and doing it again tomorrow.
Who we write for
- Football and community sport players
- Gym and strength-training enthusiasts
- Runners and everyday movers
- FIFO workers, tradies and people with physically demanding jobs
- Active adults whose lifestyle puts real demands on their body
What we publish
Recovery education, routines, guides and product recommendations. The aim is practical: things you can actually repeat during a busy week, written in plain language.
What we are not
Recovery Edition is not a medical clinic, a physiotherapy practice, a supplement manufacturer or a network-marketing business. We're a publication.
Recovery Edition publishes general informational content. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
How we handle products
We feature products that fit into the routines we write about. Where we use affiliate links, we say so — see our affiliate disclosure. We don't claim to have independently tested products unless we actually have, and we don't publish claims, statistics or testimonials that haven't been verified.
Editorial standards
- No invented claims, results, statistics or reviews.
- No therapeutic or medical claims.
- Australian English, written for an Australian audience.
- Fewer, better guides rather than volume for its own sake.
